Thank you for visiting the site, my name is Sam and I have the wonderful job of managing Studio @ 31.
It has been a dream of mine to be able to host a creative space where people can come together to do what they love.
I am a keen advocate for arts and creativity being used as a way to boost mental wellbeing.

I have a very creative background and cannot think of a moment in my life when crafting has not been part of it.
From being a Brownie Guide Leader to working as a Costume Technician for Birmingham Royal Ballet, from making our own wedding decorations to studying Hand Embroidery with the Royal School of Needlework Certificate, there is always something creative happening with me!
I am now an aspiring Embroidery Artist and Dahlia Grower (because its good to get outside sometimes) and I am looking forward to sharing my passions with others.
